
Explore New Exhibits at the Horton Point Lighthouse Nautical Museum
Visit the Nautical Museum at Horton Point Lighthouse this summer where you’ll find new exhibits and fascinating interpretations detailing the rich maritime history of the area!
The Museum is reopening its doors May 27 and visitors are welcome weekends, 11:30am – 4pm, through mid-September.
Explore displays, artifacts and images revealing rum running activity in the area, along with early whaling history and the shipwrecks of Dead Man’s Cove. Then climb to the top of the 58-foot high tower to enjoy unparalleled views of the Long Island Sound.
Admission is $5 pp or $10 for families. Please note there is a $5 add’l parking fee for non-residents in the Southold Park District lot at the lighthouse, 3575 Lighthouse Road, Southold.
