Long Island Indigenous Perspectives Canoe Tour

Conscience Point is known to be the original meeting place of the Shinnecock and English settlers of Southampton in June of 1640. Join us for a paddling tour led by Chenae Bullock of Moskehtu Consulting who will take you on a journey through history to cover oral Indigenous history, Indigenous plant identification, Indigenous lifeways, and Indigenous songs.

Participants can bring their own canoe or kayak or you can rent a kayak provided by East End Explorer. If bringing your own vessel, please also bring your own paddles and life vests and everyone please bring sunscreen, hats, etc. There is no extra fee for bringing your own vessel. And note that inflatable kayaks and motorized boats are not allowed.
