
Montauk Point Seal Hikes
Experience seals in their natural environment! The New York State For Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation is pleased to announce that Montauk Point State Park will host a series of hikes to observe wintering seals.
Beginning in November and continuing through April 2024, a State Park naturalist will lead visitors on a scenic beach walk to an area where up to five species of seals can be observed. Along the hike, there will be opportunities to see many winter birds and to explore marine geology. Bring binoculars!

$4 per persn (cash only). Children under 3 are FREE!
Please arrive 10 minutes prior to start time. Wear appropriate clothing for the weather and comfortable shoes for hiking. Hikes are approximately 2 hours and 3 miles long. No Dogs allowed. Reservations required.
