Rachel Sard: “Albeit” Artist Reception

The Gallery at Quogue Library Presents…Rachel Sard: “Albeit” on display July 13th – August 7th. Artist Rachel Sard’s paintings are a celebration and obsessive investigation of texture, luminosity and transparency. Fascinated by the subtle shifts in temperature that occur as light dances across the papery petals of a lunaria plant or the varied terrain of countless stones, shells or shallots.

Sard’s work has been exhibited in venues including The Brooklyn Museum, Flowers Gallery and the Stamford Museum and Nature Center, where she has a work in the museum’s permanent collection.

All are welcome to the Artist’s Reception on Friday, July 19th from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
