Rites of Spring Music Festival: Americana at the Village Green

The MUDFLATS band (comprised of 2 fiddles, banjo, mandolin, guitar, upright
bass, and drums) are a twin fiddle fusion of traditional American music, inspired
by the creative melting pot of music that grew out of the southern Appalachian
region–where the Celtic fiddle met the rhythms of the African banjo. The
MUDFLATS create an original sound, filled with fiddle and vocal harmonies, and
innovative lyrics added to foot-stomping fiddle tunes and songs that touch the
heart.
