Long Island's East End is hosting new art exhibits this summer. At Reflextions Riverhead: Art in the Park, enjoy a 14-foot sea turtle sculpture by Bryan DeLuca and Eli Fishman. Unveiled recently at the Long Island Aquarium to coincide with World Sea Turtle Day, the sculpture will be on display in Grangebel Park for all events. LongHouse Reserve in East Hampton will showcase over 100 eco-friendly furniture pieces by Italian designer Paola Lenti, featuring natural woods and rich textures. Open to the public until the end of September. Finally, at Landcraft Gardens on the North Fork, admire Cuban-American artist Jorge Pardo's vibrant ceramic tile sculptures, exhibited every Friday and Saturday until October 26th.

The Nowedonah, Princess of the Sea

The Southampton History Museum is facilitating the construction of the Nowedonah, a St. Ayles rowing skiff, at the historic Sayre Barn on the Rogers Mansion grounds in 2024. Spearheaded by James “Keith” Phillips of the Shinnecock Nation and supported by local volunteers, the project invites visitors to view the process from 1p - 4p on weekdays throughout the summer.
