What’s happening this Halloween on the East End? No tricks, just treats out east! We unveil several events across the East End for celebrating Halloween with family and friends for a spooky good time!
The North Fork
Bats, Barnacles, and Broomsticks at Long Island Aquarium
The Long Island Aquarium, at the gateway to the North Fork, is hosting their annual Halloween Party on Saturday, October 23rd from 11am-3pm. Those in costume receive 50% off their admission. Trick-or-treating, Halloween animals, giveaways, vendor tables, and so much more. The Long Island Aquarium is located on Main Street in the heart of downtown Riverhead.
Crawloween, a craft spirits crawl and after party event series on the North Fork, is set to take place Friday, October 29th from 6-11pm. Guests should arrive between 6-7pm to pick up their bracelets and masks at the Montauk Distilling Company, North Fork Brewing Company. Then, explore and taste spirits from Montauk Distilling, North Fork Brewing Co., Tradewinds, and Peconic County Brewing from 6-9pm. All are located in Riverhead.
The after party includes Craft’d (food and drink specials), Montauk Distilling Co (DJ), Diggers (live band) and Riverwalk Bar and Grill (DJ).
General admission begins at $14.99. The ticket price is $19.99 in-person/day of the event. Tickets include signature cocktails at Montauk Distilling, $5 craft beer at each brewery, additional discounts on food and beverage, and more.
Ticket proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society: Making Strides Breast Cancer Awareness Walk in Downtown Riverhead on 10/30.
Haunted Tree House at Long Island Aquarium
This is a brand new event for Halloween 2021 at Long Island Aquarium! This brand-new Halloween Tree House event in Riverhead includes five levels of Halloween fun! Bring the whole family and visit the aquarium for an immersive experience as you climb the 62 steps to the top of the tree house. This fun North Fork Halloween event is perfect for children ages 3-11 and accompanying parents.
This event takes place Friday-Sunday throughout October from 8-10pm. $20 in advance when reserved online or $25 at the door. One parent attends free of charge with a paid child.

Trunk or Treat at Hallockville Museum, Riverhead
The annual Trunk or Treat Halloween event on the North Fork will take place on October 30th from 3-6pm. The event at Hallockville Museum on Sound Avenue will feature Mike the Silly Magician beginning at 4pm, a silent auction and raffle, pumpkin decorating, scary stories, games, and a costume parade and contest.
The event will also feature an Adopt a Halloween Kitty hour with Last Chance Animal Rescue from 3-4pm, a Mummy Wrapping Contest, and the Trunk or Treat beginning at 5:15pm.
Event admission is $15 per person and $50 for a family of 4. Children under 5 are free. Food and drinks will be available for purchase from local food trucks.
A Halloween Party at Calissa, Water Mill
Celebrate the Halloween weekend in the Hamptons with Calissa. Located on Montauk Highway in Water Mill, Calissa is hosting a Halloween party. Come in for dinner in a costume and receive a complimentary glass of bubbles to kick off the evening. Dinner reservations should be made in advance.
A DJ will start spinning at 9:30pm. Spooky seasonal drinks will be available at the bar. For bottle service table reservations, email directly to concierge(at)calissahamptons(dot)com.
Halloween Trivia Night at the East Hampton Library
Get ready for a frightfully fun time! Halloween Trivia Night is taking place at the East Hampton Library on Main Street across from Guild Hall on Friday, October 29th. Trivia Night will be held from 6-8pm. Guests may play as an individual or as part of a team. The highest scoring team or individual wins a prize. Note: if playing on a team, all members must be signed up in advance. Call the East Hampton Library directly at 631-324-0222.
Little Lucy’s 20th Annual Pet Parade, Southampton
Bring your furry friend to Agawam Park, just across the street from Little Lucy’s Boutique. Registration begins at 1pm, and the cost is $10 per dog. The parade begins down Jobs Lane, and then onto Main Street. Furry friends will return to Agawam Park for a party, costume awards, raffle prize winners, and more. This fun annual Hamptons Halloween event will also include live music and food vendors.

The Southampton Animal Shelter’s 3rd Annual Wag-O-Ween Spooktacular
This fun, family-friendly annual event takes place on Sunday, October 24th at the Southampton Animal Shelter off of Old Riverhead Rd in Hampton Bays. This East End Halloween event begins at 12pm with a doggie costume contest and paradise (note that there is a $5 donation per dog). Next at 2pm, there is a kiddie costume contest and parade ($5 donation per child). There is so much more to discover for everyone this afternoon with a photobooth, raffles, merchandise, bake sale, costumes and toys for sale, face painting, games, prizes, and much more.
