East End Food Market in Riverhead is a project of East End Food Institute running Saturdays from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm through April 30, 2022 at 139 Main Road in Riverhead. With over 40 local food vendors, live music, activities from local nonprofits, and a rotating list of wineries sponsored by Long Island Wine Country, the market is perfect for day trippers and area residents of the North and South Forks looking to enjoy the bounty of the East End.

Special offerings on April 2 include:

Pop Up booths from Le Fusion, Rosie’s Country Bakeshop, Mattituck Mushrooms, Turmeric Store, Squared GF, Silk and Sea Designs, The Granola Plant, Muffin & James Doggy Bag Treat

 – Wine tastings from Macari Vineyards, Osprey’s Dominion, Suhru Wines

– Local nonprofit Cornell Cooperative Extension Choose Local F.I.S.H Program

17th Annual Long Island Winterfest

A 4 week mid-winter music, wine, craft beer and performing arts festival that takes place throughout Long Island’s unique vineyard tasting rooms, breweries, hotels, legendary theaters and other historic venues. 

What visitors can expect from Winterfest this year will be options to #TravelSafe. The website will feature local businesses who are creating special events or discounts for Winterfest visitors. The focus will be a resource for where to go, what to do and what is open, including plenty of outdoor experiences for all ages.

Winter Wonders Art Exhibit & Sale in Southold

Southold Historical Museum’s Ten Squared: Winter Wonders Art Exhibit & Sale begins on Nov. 15 and runs through Dec. 15! Featuring works from local artists, the exhibit interprets the wonders and beauty of winter. Each piece is 10”x10” Everyone is invited to view the exhibit. Purchases benefit local artists and the Southold Historical Museum. Makes a great holiday gift! The online exhibit and sale will be offered on the Museum’s website, SoutholdHistorical.org

Fictional Narratives delves into the imaginative worlds of national award-winning artists Richard Aardsma, Laura Dodson and Marisa S White as they present their visions through photomontage, still life and scenic design that observe nuances of nostalgia, surrealism, transformation, and the human condition.

Montauk Art Show on the Green

Montauk Artists Association has assembled a diverse array of artists from a broad variety of media, including painting, photography, ceramics, jewelry, sculpture, fish printing and more. The show, a beloved Montauk tradition, will run from Friday, August 13-Sunday August 15th.
