Family Friendly Spooky Cruise to Bug Light

Join us for a two hour (approx. 20 minute boat ride each way and 1 hour on the lighthouse) cruise & tour of this east end treasure. Learn the lighthouse’s fascinating history and lore from your guide. Many stories come from Bob Allen, the great-grandson of William H. Follett, lighthouse keeper from 1912 until 1940 who was stationed at Montauk Point, Cedar Island and the Long Beach Bar “Bug” Light stations.

Bug Light is a shining symbol of our community’s dedication to keeping our maritime heritage alive. East End Seaport Museum is responsible for taking care of the lighthouse structure, and the United States Coast Guard maintains the light. These educational, inspirational experiences also help raise much-needed funds for our current renovation project.

Please arrive by 4:30p to check-in. Coolers are allowed to enjoy your own snacks on the boat.
