Lighting the Lighthouse in Montauk

The fun begins at around dusk, with free hot chocolate courtesy of Hamptons Coffee, and live, singalong holiday music from Sarah Conway and the Playful Souls, as we await the main event: the lighting of the light! This year’s honoree is Montauk Harbor Legend, “Admiral” Ed Michels.

There is no charge for this event, although we do appreciate your donations.

Stars Over Montauk Fireworks Cruise

Enjoy a unique Fourth of July experience by setting sail with MCOC & Visit Montauk on our annual Stars Over Montauk Fireworks Cruise!

6:00pm- Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at Sammy’s, located at 448 West Lake Drive, Montauk

7:00pm – Boarding for the Fireworks Cruise will begin at the Viking Fleet dock adjacent to Sammy’s

9:15pm – Fireworks display begins!

Tickets are $150 per person which include beer, wine, seltzer and an all-American buffet dinner, and live performance by the Realm Band. Attendees must be 21 years or older.

Rain date is July 5th, 2023.

Montauk’s Concerts on the Green

Presented by the Montauk Chamber of Commerce, the summer concert series is free to the public and features a variety of musicians. Catch a show every Monday through August at the Montauk Village Green.

Montauk Farmer’s Market

This year will include some new vendors along with your old favorites.

The Market will be open Thursdays through September 28th, plus Fall Festival weekend October 7th & 8th.

Hike Culloden Point Montauk

Montauk’s Culloden Point is a place of great beauty, as are its adjoining woodlands. Before entering the Culloden Point Preserve, the hike will begin in a “brand new” section of Montauk’s North Neck Trail on the opposite side of Flamingo Avenue.

Meet at the Culloden Point historic marker, west side of Flamingo Avenue, about 400 feet north of Wills Point Road. (look for a red fire hydrant.)

6 miles – moderate – varied

Bring lunch & liquids.
