Montauk Lighthouse Electric Bike Tour

Spectacular on and off-road adventure riding for more intermediate and advanced recreational riders on an electric bike tour.

About this Event

Experience an amazing eBike adventure to Long Island’s most iconic landmark, the Montauk Point Lighthouse. The guided tour starts at the Montauk LIRR Train Station, where you get properly fitted and oriented to your Gazelle Ultimate C380 eBike. After this riders’ meeting, it’s time to “rock and roll” to the nearby Navy Beach waterfront on Gardiners Bay, former site of the WWII US Navy seaplane base and torpedo test range. From here, it’s a short ride to downtown Montauk with a refreshing stop at a local coffee shop for a hot or cold drink before we continue our adventure ride east to watch the amazing surfing at Ditch Plains, then on to Camp Hero State Park. This former military base encompasses 415 acres of diverse landscape including both paved and off-road bike paths with a spectacular expanse of towering oceanfront cliffs for us to explore as we ride to the very end of Long Island and arrive at the Montauk Point Lighthouse.

Our thoroughly enjoyable return ride includes a visit to the high-elevation Fort Hill overlook with incredible views of Lake Montauk, Gardiners Island and the Atlantic Ocean, then it’s back to our original starting point after experiencing 20+ awesome miles of the best eBike riding on Long Island.
